Softball Recap: Hot Springs Takes a Loss

Hot Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 17-14 to the Highland Hornets.

Hot Springs' loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Highland, their victory ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8.

Coming up, Hot Springs will head out to take on Lordsburg at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Highland, they will challenge Santa Rosa at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Highland's pitchers better be ready for this one: Santa Rosa has averaged an impressive 11.8 runs per game this season.
