Alexander dropped down to 18-12 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Medina Valley Panthers, falling 10-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-9 on March 6th.

As for Medina Valley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.9 runs over those games.

For Medina Valley's part, Kylah Martinez was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. Martinez has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Joleigh Jaramillo, who fired off two home runs, four runs, and three RBI while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Niobe Villafane was another key player, going a perfect 5-for-5 with one RBI.
