Trinity Presbyterian came tearing into Thursday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Montgomery Catholic Knights 15-3. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Patton Mitchell was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over 4.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted over his last four matches. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI.

In other batting news, Trinity Presbyterian got a big performance out of Land Sharpless, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Brady Bennett, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
