Football Recap: Prairie Central Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Prairie Central lost against Paxton-Buckley-Loda back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hawks took a 24-14 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Although Prairie Central took the loss, they still got scores from Aj Basham and Zach Bull. Dalton Steidinger also deserves some recognition as he passed for his first passing touchdowns of the season.

Paxton-Buckley-Loda's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tyler Cole led the charge by rushing for 67 yards and one TD on only eight carries.

Prairie Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Paxton-Buckley-Loda, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prairie Central will head out to face off against Illinois Valley Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Paxton-Buckley-Loda, they will venture away from home to take on Tuscola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
