Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Donelson Christian Academy's Seventh in Last Nine Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ezell-Harding Christian, Donelson Christian Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took down the Friendship Christian Commanders 43-28. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 128th, while the Commanders are ranked 283rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Donelson Christian Academy is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Friendship Christian, their defeat was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-16.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Donelson Christian Academy Wildcats duke it out with the Goodpasture Christian Cougars at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Friendship Christian, they will square off against Ezell-Harding Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Ezell-Harding Christian will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Friendship Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
