Baseball Recap: West Geauga Takes a Loss

West Geauga lost against Kirtland back in May of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wolverines fell 6-3 to the Hornets.

West Geauga has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season. As for Kirtland, their victory bumped their record up to 13-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Geauga will square off against Wickliffe at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Kirtland, they will head out to challenge Mentor at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Hornets 3.7, the Cardinals 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
