Softball Recap: Sheldon's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Sheldon was the 1-0 winner over Oregon City when they last played one another back in June of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Sheldon took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oregon City on Tuesday. The loss was the Irish's first of the season.

Kara Pierson was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 3-for-3. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.

Having lost for the first time this season, Sheldon fell to 3-1. As for Oregon City, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Looking ahead, Sheldon will head out on the road to take on Grants Pass at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Sheldon's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Oregon City, they will welcome McMinnville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
