Baseball Recap: West Ouachita Comes Up Short

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, West Ouachita couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They lost 13-1 to the Brusly Panthers on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 13-3 on Friday.

This is the second loss in a row for West Ouachita and nudges their season record down to 26-13. As for Brusly, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 36-5-1.

While West Ouachita had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
