Basketball Recap: Matthew Foley Key Part of a Team Effort in Mavericks Win

Eastern Tech won against Sparrows Point last Friday with 82 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. The Eastern Tech Mavericks took down the Pikesville Panthers 82-66. The Mavericks pushed the score to 69-48 by the end of the third, a deficit the Panthers cut but never quite recovered from.

Eastern Tech's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Matthew Foley, who went 11 of 17 en route to 27 points and three steals. Foley's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Singh Prabhnoor, who went 7 for 9 on his way to 15 points and six boards.

Eastern Tech is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Pikesville, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Eastern Tech will be playing at home against Dulaney at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pikesville, they will venture away from home to challenge Patapsco at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
