Tamarac waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Hoosic Valley Hawks. The Bengals might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.
Tamarac got a massive performance out of Ashlynn Tomaro, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. That's the most RBI Tomaro has posted since April 4th. Another player making a difference was Bella DeLorenzo, who went 2-for-3 with four runs and one stolen base.
Tamarac always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .667. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hoosic Valley only posted an OBP of .211.
Tamarac pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Hoosic Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-7.
