Baseball Preview: Waccamaw Warriors vs. Hanahan Hawks
Waccamaw is 0-3 against Hanahan since April of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Warriors will take on the Hawks at 6:30 p.m.
Waccamaw came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 14-7 to Andrews. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 10, 2019, but that streak is no more.
Nathaniel Mabus made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Christian Galasso, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Hanahan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They never let Academic Magnet get on the board and left with a 4-0 win on Friday.
Waccamaw now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Hanahan, they now have a winning record of 11-10-2.
