Basketball Recap: Hinton Gets the Win

After losing to Apache the last time they met, Hinton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hinton Comets came out on top against the Apache Warriors by a score of 58-51 on Monday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Comets.

Hinton has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Apache, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Hinton and Apache could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Hinton (ranked 212th) will meet Binger-Oney (ranked 57th) at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Apache will face off against Cyril at 1:00 p.m. on January 30th down 164 places (249 vs. 85).
