            Seagoville typically has all the answers at home, but  on Friday North Mesquite proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with  a   61-49  victory over the Seagoville Dragons. This was a revenge game for the Stallions: when they faced off against the Dragons  back in January, they had to take a  53-50  defeat.

 Leading North Mesquite to victory were  Christian Brooks and  Jeremiah Grigsby.  Brooks  dropped  a double-double with 18  points and 14  rebounds, while  Grigsby  went 7 for 16  en route to 19 points. That's the most  boards  Brooks has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was  Marquel Mouton, who  earned ten points in addition to five  assists and five  rebounds.
 Despite the loss, Seagoville still got an impressive performance from   Travion Hall, who  dropped  a double-double with 25  points and ten  boards. That was a full 51% of Seagoville's points, marking the ninth time in a row he's   scored  more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Adam West, who  put up 11 points and five  rebounds.
North Mesquite has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won six of their last seven matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 19-10 record  this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 60.4 points over those games. As for Seagoville, their loss dropped their record down to 19-14.
 North Mesquite didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  contest,  a  77-58  win against Wilson on the 11th. As for Seagoville, they have also  already played their next game,  a  63-31  victory against Samuell on the 11th.
