Soccer Game Preview: Union vs. Volunteer

The Union Bears will head out on the road to square off against the Volunteer Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Union is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Union is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to six goals on Monday, they were much more limited against Lebanon on Thursday. They fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 1-0. That's two games in a row now that Union have lost by just one goal.

Meanwhile, Volunteer lost 7-2 to Greeneville on Tuesday. Volunteer haven't had much luck with Greeneville recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Colton Miller and Cameron Cox scored both of Volunteer's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 15 goals.

Union's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Volunteer, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.
