Bowie's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Austin Maroons. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by six runs or more this season.

Bowie is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-7-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Austin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-12-1.

Bowie will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Maroons: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
