Recap: Providence Catholic vs. Joliet Catholic
On Monday, the Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers were out to avenge their 66-51 defeat to the Providence Catholic Celtics from their previous meeting last month, but they had no such luck. Joliet fell to Providence Catholic 36-29. Joliet can't seem to catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.
The Hilltoppers' loss pushed them down to 14-16. The win makes it two in a row for Providence Catholic and bumps their record up to 22-7.
The Hilltoppers will be playing in front of their home fans against Marist today. Like Joliet, Marist is looking to wash their mouths of the taste of defeat after falling 62-57 to Bolingbrook. As for the Celtics, they will face off against Marist on Saturday. Providence Catholic is the clear underdog, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one.
