Recap: Red Cloud Warriors vs. Franklin Flyers

The Red Cloud Warriors waltzed into their contest Thursday with four straight wins but they left with five. Everything went their way against Franklin as Red Cloud made off with a 45-24 win. The result was nothing new for Red Cloud, who have now won four games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Red Cloud's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Avery Fangmeyer led the charge by scoring 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Adelynn Minnick, who scored 14 points.

Red Cloud pushed their record up to 7-6 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 24.33 points. As for Franklin, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Coincidentally, Red Cloud and Franklin will both be playing Blue Hill the next time they take the court. Red Cloud will host Blue Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, while Franklin will head out to face them on Saturday.
