Basketball Recap: Raider Finau Key Part of a Team Effort in Cougars Win

Bothell won the last time they faced Eastlake and things went their way on Friday too. The Bothell Cougars enjoyed a cozy 79-62 win over the Eastlake Wolves. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Bothell's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Raider Finau, who went 9 of 12 en route to 23 points. Finau is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 40% in the last four games he's played. Jaylen McLaughlin was another key player, putting up 18 points and seven assists.

Bothell's record now sits at 9-12. As for Eastlake, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-11.

Bothell has already played their next contest (against Mount Si), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Eastlake will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Camas at 12:00 p.m. on March 15th.
