After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Calvary Day, Long County was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Windsor Forest Knights 49-22. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Blue Tide considering their 13-point performance the matchup before.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Long County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cortney Charles, who rushed for 86 yards and a pair of TDs. Charles also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making one tackle and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception. Another back making a difference was Tyrell Grayson, who rushed for 136 yards and one score on only ten carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Long County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 398 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 183 rushing yards in eight consecutive games dating back to last season.
