The Culver City Centaurs will venture away from home to square off against the Inglewood Sentinels at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Inglewood took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Culver City, who comes in off a win.
Culver City took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lawndale 48-0. That looming 48-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Centaurs yet this season.

Culver City can attribute much of their success to Nicholas Hoang, who threw for 164 yards and three TDs while completing 72.2% of his passes, and Langston Wilson, who rushed for 112 yards on only ten carries. Those 112 rushing yards gave Wilson a new career-high.
Culver City didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Bradon Williams, Derrick Huezo Jr., and Jesse Gramajo picked up one apiece. Culver City received some extra help from Shelton Bryant, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Meanwhile, Inglewood lost to Palos Verdes on the road by a 31-12 margin on Friday. The Sentinels gained 102 more yards on the day, but it was the Sea Kings that made the best use of them.
Culver City will need to focus on slowing down Lincoln Jahn, one of several Inglewood players who made an impact when they last played. He threw for 218 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 30 yards. Brandon Crawford was Jahn's top target, picking up 59 receiving yards and one score, while also rushing for 45 yards.
Culver City's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-5. As for Inglewood, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
Culver City suffered a grim 52-27 defeat to Inglewood in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Can the Centaurs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
