The Parkview Baptist Eagles fell just short of the Plaquemine Green Devils by a score of 59-57 on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Green Devils: they've now lost three in a row.

Parkview Baptist's loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3. As for Plaquemine, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-2.
