Guntersville is 8-2 against Albertville since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Wildcats will square off against the Aggies at 7:00  p.m. Albertville took a loss in their last  contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Guntersville, who comes in off a win.
If Albertville heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when Guntersville took over last week. The Wildcats took down Douglas 28-14  on Friday. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive  win against them.
 While passing duties were split, you can't argue with the impact  Street Smith and  Garrett Christie both made on the  game. Smith rushed for 41 yards and one  score while  Christie rushed for 99 yards on only 13 carries.
 Meanwhile, Albertville was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their third straight  loss. They were beaten by James Clemens 45-0. While losing is never fun, the Aggies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Alabama football rankings (they are ranked 216th, while the Jets are ranked 79th).
 Guntersville's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Albertville, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
 Everything came up roses for Guntersville against Albertville in their previous meeting  back in November of 2024, as the  team secured  a  56-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the  squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
