Softball Recap: Lake Lure Classical Academy Comes Up Short

Lake Lure Classical Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 10-0 to the Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy Crusaders. The Raptors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Crusaders earlier this season, when they won 9-4.

Lake Lure Classical Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Addison Levi, who went 1-for-3 with one triple.

Lake Lure Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Coincidentally, Lake Lure Classical Academy and Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy will both be playing Pinnacle Classical Academy the next time they take the field. The Crusaders will host the Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Raptors will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
