Basketball Game Preview: Grant Generals vs. Owyhee Storm

The Grant Generals and the Owyhee Storm will round out the year against one another at at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Grant was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 77-71 to Barlow. The Generals have struggled against the Bruins recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Owyhee entered their tilt with Sheldon last Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Huskies 73-40. The Storm have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Owyhee's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 79.1 points per game. As for Grant, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
