The biggest upset of the week belonged to Morley Stanwood, who took down 384th ranked Central Montcalm, 21-20.

Lakeview's Nate Shurlow recorded the longest rushing play in Central State this season in his game against Chippewa Hills last week. Shurlow ran for 89 yards on the play and finished with 224 on the day as his team bested the Warriors.

The Hornets' dynamic duo of Keagan James and Blake Wittkopp proved to be unstoppable against the Mohawks, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. James threw for 60 yards and Wittkopp had 35 yards receiving. Jayson Beckley helped Central Montcalm's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 25 yards.

Central Montcalm's dynamic duo of James and Wittkopp proved tough for Morley Stanwood to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

David Dykstra was a passing and rushing force as White Cloud fell to Big Rapids.

Dykstra was a force in the backfield as the Indians fell to the Cardinals.

Dylan Woytik made the biggest impact on defense this week as White Cloud lost to Big Rapids. He.

Dykstra was the best running back in the league this week. He ran for 267 yards on 29 carries as Julian Castillo's team lost to Clark Huntey's team. Dillon Maring also contributed to the rushing game with 32 yards on the ground.

James put up the best numbers in passing as the Hornets fell to the Mohawks.

Wittkopp was the best receiver in the league this week as Central Montcalm fell to Morley Stanwood.

Lakeview's Shurlow and Shawn Lindsey have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Central State in both passing and receiving yards. Shurlow has thrown for 485 yards this season, while Lindsey has 10 catches for 284 yards. The Hornets' Trenton Braman leads the league in rushing yards with 399.

An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Hesperia takes on Newaygo. The Panthers are currently in second, while the Lions are in third.

The Mohawks moved up to 390 from 438 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Morley Stanwood was able to move up by besting Central Montcalm 21-20.
