Basketball Game Preview: Fort Jennings Musketeers vs. Pandora-Gilboa Rockets

The Fort Jennings Musketeers will venture away from home to take on the Pandora-Gilboa Rockets at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Pandora-Gilboa took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Fort Jennings, who comes in off a win.

Fort Jennings is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They enjoyed a cozy 66-48 victory over Jefferson on Tuesday. Given the Musketeers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 216th, while the Wildcats are ranked 511th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Pandora-Gilboa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-43 heartbreaker at the hands of Leipsic.

Fort Jennings has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Pandora-Gilboa, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

Things could have been worse for Fort Jennings, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 64-46 loss to Pandora-Gilboa in their previous matchup back in February of 2024. Can Fort Jennings avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
