Baseball Recap: Manvel Comes Up Short

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Manvel was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They lost 14-2 to the Dawson Eagles. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mavericks have suffered since March 18th.

Manvel saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Daniel Le, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Manvel moved to 11-10 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Dawson, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season.

While Manvel had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
