Volleyball Recap: Littleton Public Schools Picks Up Ninth Consecutive Win

On Saturday, Littleton Public Schools faced Mountain Vista in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Littleton Public Schools came out on top against the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles by a score of 2-0. Littleton Public Schools' victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.

Brady Wiggers paced Littleton Public Schools' offense, picking up ten kills. Wiggers got some help from Hayden DeJager and his 23 assists. Jordan Fredericks controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Littleton Public Schools' win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Mountain Vista, with the loss, they broke their 13-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Littleton Public Schools will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mullen at 6:30 p.m. on March 27th. After both having extra time off, Mountain Vista and Regis Jesuit will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. The last four games Regis Jesuit has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
