Football Recap: Joshua Lorusso's Big Game Can't Quite Lead FCA B over Central Virginia Disciples

FCA B lost against Central Virginia Disciples back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bucks lost to Central Virginia Disciples on the road by a 42-24 margin. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Bucks came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 46th in Delaware, while Central Virginia Disciples are ranked 277th in Virginia).

FCA B's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Joshua LoRusso, who threw for 141 yards and three TDs.

FCA B's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Central Virginia Disciples, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

FCA B does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central Virginia Disciples, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Northern Virginia HomeSchool at 2:00 p.m. on November 1.
