Soccer Recap: Bellingham Comes Up Short

Bellingham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Weston Wildcats. Bellingham were not able to make up for their loss to Weston from their previous meeting back in October of 2017.

Bellingham's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Weston, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Bellingham will head out to challenge Ashland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Weston, they will venture away from home to face off against Westford Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
