It's playoff time, and Regis Groff had no trouble coming through when it counted. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Severance Silver Knights on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Fusion sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Eamon McKim paced Regis Groff's offense, picking up 15 kills. McKim got some help from Jayden Flores and his 29 assists. Chris Ta controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

When it comes to explaining why Severance lost, don't look at Zeke Wawrzyniak. Despite the final result, he had 23 digs and three assists. Wawrzyniak has been hot recently, having posted 19 or more digs the last three times he's played.

Regis Groff's victory bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Severance, they moved to 20-7 with that defeat, which also ended their 16-game winning streak.

Regis Groff didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Pueblo South on the 10th. As for Severance, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 victory against Stargate School on the 9th.
