Football Recap: Lamar Warriors vs. Dover Pirates
Lamar and Dover met for a duel on Friday where Lamar prevailed. The Lamar Warriors simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Dover Pirates 35-8 at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.
Lamar found their leader in underclassman Kade Boen, who threw for 151 yards and four touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Eli Jones, who gained 129 total yards.

With the win, Lamar broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-3. As for Dover, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

As for Dover, they will welcome Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Clinton's defense has only allowed 14.4 points per game this season, so Dover's offense will have their work cut out for them.
