Buchtel's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They breezed past the Firestone Falcons to the tune of 37-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Griffins' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 251st, while the Falcons are ranked 510th).

Buchtel's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Firestone, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Buchtel will take on rival Ellet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Firestone is set to face off against their familiar foe Garfield at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
