While California put up plenty of runs on Wednesday, the same can't be said for Monte Vista. Everything went the California Grizzlies' way against the Monte Vista Mustangs as the California Grizzlies made off with an 11-0 victory. Gabriella Nudo looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Shayla Santolucito was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in April of 2024. Alina Curiel was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
