Softball Recap: Wayne County Comes Up Short

The Wayne County Wildcats came up short against the McEwen Warriors on Monday and fell 4-1. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wayne County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for McEwen, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

While Wayne County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
