Volleyball Recap: Benjamin Russell Takes a Loss

Benjamin Russell and Chilton County squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Benjamin Russell had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Chilton County was led to victory by Kendall Moore and Kayleigh Davis. Moore had 11 digs and two aces, while Davis had seven digs and one assist. That's the most digs Davis has posted over her last four contests.

Benjamin Russell's defeat dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Chilton County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 22-13.

As of now, neither Benjamin Russell nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
