Volleyball Recap: Goleman Triumphs

Goleman's tournament run continued when they took on Park Vista on Saturday. The Goleman Gators came out on top in a nail-biter against the Park Vista Cobras, sneaking past 2-1.

Goleman got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 28-30, 25-22, 15-6.

Roman Garcia paced Goleman's offense, picking up 13 kills. Garcia got some help from Carlos Delgado and his 29 assists. Garcia was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

The win got Goleman back to even at 2-2. As for Park Vista, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-4.

Goleman has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Dr. Joaquin Garcia on the 8th. As for Park Vista, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Atlantic Christian on the 8th.
