Recap: Blount Leopards vs. Vigor Wolves
The Blount Leopards lost to the Vigor Wolves back in November, but the Blount Leopards didn't allow the Vigor Wolves the same satisfaction on Friday. Blount came out on top against Vigor by a score of 35-27. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Blount.
Blount got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Donniya Torrey out in front who scored 10 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Kendaleigh Wesley, who scored 10 points.
Blount is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season. As for Vigor, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 2-7.
Blount will take on St. Martin at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Vigor, they will be playing at home against St. Paul's Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
