Soccer Recap: Cedar Creek Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Cedar Creek was not quite McCallum's equal in the second half on Monday. They came up short against the McCallum Knights, falling 3-0. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 560th, while the Knights are ranked 201st).

Cedar Creek dropped their record down to 6-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for McCallum, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

Coming up, Cedar Creek will be playing at home against Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. As for McCallum, they are taking a road trip to square off against Bastrop at 7:15 p.m. on March 11th.
