Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask The Daniel Academy). They were the clear victors by a 23-3 margin over the Guadalupe Centers Aztecs on Tuesday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Lions considering their one-run performance the match before.
Emerson Howdeshell was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Howdeshell was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs while going 3-for-3. Those hits were his first of the season.
