Soccer Recap: Lafayette Comes Up Short

Despite a strong season so far, Lafayette has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the York Falcons. That's two games in a row now that Lafayette have lost by just one goal.

Lafayette's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for York, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3-1.

Looking ahead, Lafayette will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Kellam at 5:00 p.m. As for York, they will head out to take on Grafton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
