Football Recap: Poquoson Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

Poquoson barely beat Smithfield the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Islanders never let the Packers get on the board and left with a 42-0 win on Friday. 42 seems to be a good number for the Islanders as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Poquoson pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 37.2 points over those games. As for Smithfield, they moved to 6-4 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
