Soccer Recap: Lafayette Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Lafayette Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy Eagles an easy 8-0 victory. That's two games in a row now that the Knights have lost by exactly eight goals.

Lafayette Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lafayette Christian Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Vermilion Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy also won't see the pitch for a while: their next matchup is against Livonia at 11:00 a.m. on January 4, 2025.
