Soccer Recap: Resurrection Plays to a Tie

Resurrection had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They and the Ridgewood Rebels finished up their game with a 1-1 draw on Friday. The result (or lack thereof) marked Resurrection's first draw of the season.

Their goal came courtesy of Giovanna Lee, who's now up to ten this season.

With that draw, Resurrection's record moves to 4-3-1. Meanwhile, Ridgewood's record is now 0-3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Resurrection will welcome Taft at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ridgewood, they will be playing at home against Elgin at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Elgin will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Ridgewood surely won't give up without a fight.
