Volleyball Recap: Burbank Gets the Win

Burbank's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sun Valley Magnet Pioneers, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since August 15th.

Burbank was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 18-25, 18-25, 25-18, 17-15.

With the victory, Burbank broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-8.

Burbank didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Flintridge Prep on the 21st. As for Sun Valley Magnet, they will face off against Community Charter at 4:00 p.m. on the 28th.
