Valley View entered their tilt with Vanguard Academy Beethoven on Tuesday with three consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with four. Their defense stepped up to hand Vanguard Academy Beethoven a 7-0 shutout. Considering the Tigers have won five games by more than four goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Their offense was hitting Vanguard Academy Beethoven from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Sherlyn Meza-Cantu led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Valley View's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those four contests. As for Vanguard Academy Beethoven, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.
