Soccer Game Preview: Hawkins vs. Jordan

Hawkins and Jordan are an even 3-3-2 against one another since January of 2020, but likely not for long. The Hawks will take on the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Hawkins' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Hawkins was handed a three-goal defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Crenshaw 1-0. Hawkins wouldn't have won without Christian Guevara, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, Jordan entered their tilt with Dorsey on Wednesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Dons with a sharp 6-1 win. Considering Jordan have won five matchups by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hawkins now has a winning record of 7-6-3. As for Jordan, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2-1.
