Football Recap: Binghamton Comes Up Short

Binghamton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Union-Endicott Tigers, falling 50-12. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 35-6 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Binghamton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Union-Endicott, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Binghamton will head out to challenge Horseheads at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Raiders' defense has only allowed 13.9 points per game this season, so the Patriots' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Union-Endicott, they will take on Vestal at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Golden Bears have played have been within three points, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
