Basketball Game Preview: Lincolnwood Lancers vs. Edinburg/South Fork Ponies

The Lincolnwood Lancers will head out to take on the Edinburg/South Fork Ponies at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Lincolnwood is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Lincolnwood came up short against Greenville on Tuesday, falling 65-41.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Edinburg/South Fork). They blew past Bunker Hill 62-30 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Ponies.

Edinburg/South Fork's win bumped their record up to 17-13. As for Lincolnwood, their loss dropped their record down to 5-23.

Lincolnwood came up short against Edinburg/South Fork when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 34-23. Can Lincolnwood avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
