Basketball Recap: JORDAN QUINCE Key Part of a Team Effort in Panthers Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Providence Day, Dwyer was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 62-47 win over the True North Classical Academy Titans.

Dwyer's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but JORDAN QUINCE led the charge by going 8 of 19 en route to 22 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was JERMUNI SHULER, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.

Dwyer smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Ryan Rodriguez and Boosie Swan certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Rodriguez went 5 of 10 on his way to 12 points, while Swan posted 13 points and six rebounds.

Dwyer now has a winning record of 8-7. As for True North Classical Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Dwyer Panthers face off against the Martin County Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on January 8th. As for True North Classical Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-54 victory against Coral Gables on the 3rd.
